οmen
οιωνός... Ι knew this word (ee--oh--NOSS) but not how to spell it. Related words are προοιωνίζομαι, foretell, and Οιωνοσκόπος, ee-oh-no-SKO-poss, one who notices omens, i.e. tells the future.
